Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Abdullahi is the founder and Executive Director of CED. He was born in Mogadishu, Somalia 1964. He completed his Primary, Intermediate and High School education in Mogadishu, Somalia before proceeding to Ministry of Commerce and Industry, before becoming political active, Abdullaahi studied at the Somali National University where he earned a BSC degree in Civil Engineer in in 1984. Worked as a secondary school teacher in 1985, and as a assistant lecturer at Somali National University (1986-1990) Abdullaahi also worked as Program Manager for Diakonie- Bread for the World Germany (DBG).
