Puntland’s Minister of Fisheries held talks with Etienne Peterschmitt on Sunday, July 10.
Peterschmitt is the Country Director for the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in Somalia.
His talks with Dr. Rashid Mohamud, the fisheries minister, revolved around myriad issues.
Top on their list of discussions was ongoing projects and priorities.
The two agreed that Puntland’s coastline, which is the longest in Somalia, has the potential for a strong fisheries sector.
