The Qatari government has condemned the recent suicide bombing attack on the spokesperson for the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS).
Mohamed Ibrahim Moalimuu, the government spokesperson, almost lost his life during the suicide-bombing attempt on his life on January 17.
Terrorists targeted the car carrying Moalimuu in Mogadishu on Sunday.
Moalimuu escaped with serious, life-threatening injuries.
On Monday, Qatar released a statement condemning the attack and attempt on Moalimuu’s life.
It strongly denounced the attempt on the spokesperson.
Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the country’s rejection of all forms of violence, political assassinations, and terrorism.
It urged Somali authorities to pursue and bring to justice all those who took part in the attack against Moalimuu.
