A report on the impact of last year’s El Nino rains in Somalia has been launched.
Deputy Prime Minister Salah Jama launched the Rapid Post-Disaster Needs Assessment on Tuesday.
He did so in a ceremony held in Mogadishu.
The Deputy Prime Minister launched the report that focused on the Dey rains and the subsequent floods in Somalia.
The report also delved into the recovery strategies that the government and other stakeholders need to undertake in the country.
