Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble has appointed Abdullahi Mohamed Nur the new Minister for Internal Security.
Nur takes over from Hassan Hundubey Jimale.
The Prime Minister had sacked Jimale from his position. A few hours later, he replaced Jimale with Nur.
While announcing Nur’s appointment, the Prime Minister extended his gratitude to Jimale for the services he had rendered to Somalia in the past.
Technically, Prime Minister Roble is the Head of the Government, thus well within his rights and powers to make cabinet reshuffles.
