Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble discussed the impact of COVID-19 in Somalia with the representatives of United Nations Peace-building Commission.
Roble held a virtual discussion with the officials from UN Peacebuilding Fund Somalia on Thursday, December 3.
During the discussion, Roble and the UN representatives also talked about climate emergencies affecting Somalia, which was recently rocked by Cyclone Gati.
The country’s priorities in the area of peace and security also received attention from Roble and the UN team.
Roble said that Somalia is now ready to renew Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (SDCF) with the global organization.
