Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble visited the offices of the Federal Elections Implementation Team (FEIT) on April 10.
Roble visited the FEIT offices in Mogadishu.
His visit was predominantly borne out of the need to observe the ongoing registration and certification of newly elected lawmakers.
FEIT has been registering and certifying newly elected members of the House of the People (Lower House) and Senate (Upper House) for the last two weeks.
Thus far, it has registered and certified close to 200 MPs and Senators.
During Sunday’s visit, Prime Minister Roble expressed gratitude to FEIT for the essential work they continue providing in Somalia.
