Abdullahi Mohamed Sanbalolshe has officially taken over the reins at the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA).
Sanbalolshe took over from Mahad Salad who resigned suddenly last week.
Salad handed over the office and instruments of power to his replacement in a ceremony attended by President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud on Tuesday at the NISA headquarters.
Sanbalolshe is not a stranger to the NISA operations. He previously served in a similar capacity.
