On Tuesday, Somalia’s President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud bid farewell to officers from the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) who are heading to Türkiye for advanced anti-terrorism training.
According to a statement, this initiative aims to strengthen Somalia’s national security.
It seeks to enhance the effectiveness of its security forces in combating terrorism through collaboration with international partners too.
This move reflects ongoing efforts to bolster Somalia’s counter-terrorism capabilities amid persistent security challenges in the region.
