Sixty healthcare workers in Benadir received training on primary health care.
The federal Ministry of Health facilitated the training, which kicked off on February 13.
According to a communiqué from the health ministry, the training is to last for the next six days.
The training is specifically for healthcare workers who need these skills to enable them to take excellent care of their eyes.
The poor state of the eyes affects a large proportion of workers in the healthcare sector.
