The Somali National Army (SNA) conducted a joint airstrike with the United States Africa Command (AFRICOM) against ISIS militants.
The joint airstrike targeted ISIS militants in the vicinity of Dhaardaar.
The target area is approximately 81km to the southeast of Bosaso.
SNA and AFRICOM forces carried out the airstrike on Friday, May 31, 2024. Thus far, information on the casualties involved is yet to be revealed.
