The Somali National Army (SNA) chief visited Barire, the town where government soldiers recently killed two civilians.
Brig. Gen. Odawaa Yusuf Rageh traveled to Barire town on Thursday, June 16.
Recently, residents of Barire town were up in arms following reports that two soldiers shot and killed two civilians.
Eyewitnesses reported that the soldiers shot both men in the head.
The culprits were immediately apprehended and are currently in police custody helping authorities with investigations.
Brig. Gen. Rageh assured the residents that justice will be done.
