General Mohamed Tahlil Bihi, the Infantry Commander of the Somali National Army (SNA) held talks with a renegade general in Hiran.
The talks between Gen. Bihi and the renegade General Abukar Huud took place in Beledweyne town on Monday, January 17.
Gen. Huud’s militias have clashed severally with the HirShabelle Regional Forces in the last few months.
According to reports, Gen. Huud seeks to lead the Hiran region to break away from the regional state of HirShabelle.
