The Somali Disaster Management Agency (SODMA) has sent a boat full of foodstuff to Bosaso.
SODMA sent the boat to deliver food aid to the distressed residents of Bosaso town on Sunday, February 26.
It added that some of the food supplies would then be transported onward to Las Anod.
Las Anod has experienced unimaginable chaos and violence over the past several weeks and months.
The city already has a significant amount of internally displaced persons (IDPs).
Many families in Las Anod, the provincial capital of Sool, are affected by the ongoing conflict in the city as well as the worsening humanitarian situation.
