The Somali Disaster Management Agency (SODMA) appealed to an international organization to drill 23 wells around the country.
SODMA sent the appeal to the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) this week.
KSRelief answered back by stating its readiness to drill the wells.
The organization promised to drill wells in various parts of the country as a way of providing residents with access to clean water.
This would be great considering that close to 2 million people in Somalia left their homes in search of food and water.
They were forced into this as the country suffered a devastating drought for the last few years.
