The Somali Disaster Management Agency (SODMA) has organized a workshop on the modernization of early warning and emergency response systems.
The workshop kicked off in Mogadishu on Wednesday.
Mahamuud Moallim, SODMA Commissioner, was available to open the workshop officially.
The workshop, which also delves into the integration of the systems, is the product of joint efforts of SODMA and the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR).
