A productive and significant meeting took place in Nairobi between Kenyan officials and Somali Ambassador to Kenya, Jabril Ibrahim Abdulle.
Wednesday’s meeting focused on areas of mutual interest like the blue economy, fisheries, water transport, and mining.
Amb. Abdulle met with the Kenyan Cabinet Secretary for Mining, Blue Economy, and Maritime Affairs, Ali Hassan Joho.
These sectors are vital for economic growth and regional cooperation, and exchanging experiences and ideas can help unlock further potential for both countries.
With Kenya’s Principal Secretaries for Blue Economy and Fisheries, Mining, and Shipping and Maritime Affairs in attendance, this collaboration could enhance sustainable development, investment opportunities, and improve bilateral relations.
It’s encouraging to see Kenya and Somalia working together to explore new ways to harness their natural resources.
