Somali and Tanzanian Spy Agencies Sign Counterterrorism MoU

The Head of the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) of Somalia, Abdullahi Sanbaloolshe, met with Tanzania’s intelligence chief, Suleiman Abubakar Mombo, in Mogadishu on Thursday.

During their meeting, the two leaders signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to bolster counterterrorism collaboration between the two nations.

This agreement aims to address the growing threats of terrorist activities in the East Africa region, focusing on intelligence sharing, coordinated operations, and capacity building.

According to the statement, this partnership signifies a strong commitment to enhancing regional security and combating extremism effectively.
