Somalia’s Council of Ministers has approved the Labour Draft Bill.
Meeting in their weekly session on Thursday, the Cabinet agreed to approve the bill thus paving the way for its presentation to the federal parliament for further discussions.
Today’s session took place under the leadership of Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre.
The Ministry of Labour and Human Services had prepared and presented the bill before the Council of Ministers for approval.
The purpose of the bill is to protect the right of workers in Somalia.
