The Somali Embassy in London hosted a reception for the visiting Minister of Education on Friday evening.
Embassy officials welcomed education minister Farah Sheikh Abdulkadir to the reception.
The minister’s delegation was also present at the event.
During the event, Abdulkadir, who is currently on a working visit in London, got an opportunity to address other guests.
Most of the guests were members of the Somali community in London.
The minister briefed them on the progress the government continues to make back at home and the measures undertaken to protect Somalia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
