JEDDAH, Saudi Arabia – The Consul General of Somalia in Jeddah, Abdi Wali Hirsi Abdulle, conducted a series of diplomatic engagements with representatives from Turkiye, Iraq, and Brunei.
Joined by senior consulate staff, Abdulle held separate bilateral meetings aimed at reinforcing connections and enhancing cooperation. The participants included the Turkish Consul General in Jeddah, Mustafa Unal, the Iraqi Consul General, Mustafa Al-Shayic, and the Acting Consul General of Brunei, Farhan Abdiqani.
The high-level talks centered on various important matters, with a primary focus on improving diplomatic and professional relations between Somalia and each respective country. Major subjects involved promoting trade activities and identifying strategic investment prospects to stimulate economic development.
Additionally, the sessions emphasized advancing collaborative frameworks. A key agenda item was the development of job opportunities intended to support the Somali population, with particular attention to ensuring a bright future for the younger generation of Somalis.
