A workshop for fisheries officials from the federal government of Somalia (FGS) and federal member states (FMS) kicked off today.
Ahmed Hassan Aden, the federal Minister of Fisheries and Blue Economy, launched the two-day workshop on Wednesday.
Officials from the ministry and other relevant fisheries authorities around the country represented their respective departments and organizations at the workshop.
They will discuss ongoing projects in the East African nation while also tackling issues revolving around the priority tasks of the fishing sector.
