The Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) has captured more than $7 million from terrorists in the country.
On Tuesday this week, the government published a statement with details on the money recovered from terrorist organizations in Somalia.
Apart from the money, the federal government was also able to close 670 telephone numbers.
Authorities in the country also worked closely with international partners to shut down 110 merchant accounts with links to terrorist networks.
