The Speaker of the House of the People has traveled to Baghdad to attend the 34th session of the Arab Parliamentary League.
Speaker Sheikh Adan Mohamed Mohamed Nur Madobe of the Lower House left for the Iraqi capital on Thursday.
He joins other leaders and legislators from the Arab League member states at the meeting.
The Arab League is a 22-member strong organization that includes countries such as Somalia, Sudan, Yemen, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Morocco, and Oman among others.
Speaker Madobe will represent Somalia at the Arab Parliamentary League.
