Somali Man Claims He Was Wrongly Imprisoned to 142 Years in Greek Prison

A Somali man has claimed that he was wrongly sentenced to 142 years in a Greek prison.

Hanad Abdi Mohammad says that Greek authorities wrongly jailed him for a crime that he never committed.

Apparently, Greek authorities found Mohammad guilty of smuggling immigrants into Europe.

Mohammad says that he was not smuggling the immigrants. Instead, he saved the lives of more than 30 people.

According to Mohammad, he took charge of the boat that was carrying the immigrants.

The person who had been steering it took off and left the passengers alone.

Mohammad then took charge and steered the boat to safety. Greek authorities caught him in the act and arrested him.
