Hassan Eeley is in Rome to attend a Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) conference.
Eeley, the Minister of Livestock, Forestry, and Range, attended the conference on behalf of the Somali government.
He is one of the participants at the FAO Global Conference on Sustainable Livestock Transformation in Rome, Italy.
On Tuesday, he was part of a panel at the conference.
He addressed fellow panelists and participants on ways of increasing livestock production while minimizing environmental and social costs.
Eeley spoke about ways of maximizing economic benefits and equity too.
