The House of the People has received the Fisheries Management Draft Bill for further discussions and debate.
Ahmed Hassan Aden, the Minister of Fisheries and Blue Economy, presented the draft bill to the federal parliament legislators on Saturday.
Legislators now have to set a date for deliberating the issues that the fisheries ministry has raised in the draft bill.
