Somali Police Force (SPF) officers have received encouragement to be more decisive in tackling insecurity in Adale town.
Recently, the town has witnessed a sharp rise in cases of insecurity.
Residents have continuously complained of an increase in muggings and militant activities.
Suleiman Fargah, the District Commissioner (DC) of Yaqshid District, issued this call on Thursday when he toured the town.
He urged criminals and terrorists to abandon their ways.
DC Fargah reminded residents that security agencies in the region are not only well-resourced but also independent to perform their duties exceptionally without external interference.
