President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud of Somalia addressed the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) Governing Council.
The Somali leader addressed members of the IFAD Governing Council on Tuesday.
The 46th session of the IFAD Governing Council takes place in Rome from February 14-15, 2023.
In his address, President Mohamud highlighted the efforts Somalia has put in to achieve food security for everyone in the country.
His address touched on some of the challenges the country grapples with while striving to achieve food security.
Some of the challenges he mentioned include foreign debt, terrorism, and climate change.
President Mohamud informed the IFAD Governing Council of the great potential that Somalia has for agricultural growth.
