President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud of Somalia has called on the rest of the world to act swiftly to reverse the global food crisis.
The President was speaking at the United Nations Food Systems Summit +2 Stocktaking Moment in Roma, Italy.
He addressed participants on the first day of the Summit on July 25.
“Globally, we need to do more to tackle the depleting food in different nations around the world,” President Mohamud told the audience.
President Mohamud added that the hunger crisis around the world would worsen unless nations took the measures needed to mitigate the situation fast.
