President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud concluded his official visit to Eritrea.
The President, who had been in Eritrea at the invitation of his host President Isaias Afwerki, concluded his visit on Tuesday.
Earlier in the day, he visited Somali air force officers undergoing training in Eritrea.
The trainees are based at the Eritrean Air Force Base in Asmara.
President Mohamud was with his host President Afwerki during the visit to the Asmara base.
He assessed the conditions at the base before receiving briefings from the air force trainees. Shortly afterward he left the country.
