President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has invited Ali Jeyte to Mogadishu for talks on the situation in the Hiiraan region.
The President extended the invitation to Jeyte, a former Governor of Hiiraan, this week.
The invitation follows the recent sacking of Jeyte by HirShabelle President Ali Hussein Gudlawe, a decision that created a massive political problem in the region.
Following his sacking, Jeyte declared Hiiraan an independent state from HirShabelle.
He has already gone ahead to lay the foundation stone for the construction of a regional palace in Hiiraan.
