President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud addressed the Arab Islamic Summit in Riyadh, expressing Somalia’s support for a sustainable and peaceful solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
The Somali President emphasized that true peace can only be achieved through the establishment of an independent Palestinian state within the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
This stance aligns with the longstanding position held by many Arab and Islamic countries advocating for Palestinian sovereignty and the two-state solution as essential for lasting stability in the region.
