President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud visited the Prime Minister’s residence as part of the June 26 independence day celebrations.
The President spent a better part of Wednesday at the home of Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre in Mogadishu.
He also visited the residential place of the Speaker of the Lower House and Speaker of the Upper House.
His visit to Speaker Abdi Hashi’s home and Speaker Sheikh Madobe’s residence is symbolic of the unity that the President craves in the government.
