Abdikarim Hussein Guled, a candidate in next year’s presidential elections in Somalia, has denied reports that he is a political associate of Fahad Yasin.
Recently, there have been reports that Guled enjoys close relations with Yasin, the Director of National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA).
On December 1, Yasin termed the reports “baseless.”
“I will not deny the fact that I have been friends with Yasin for years,” Guled said.
“However, he and I have no political connections of any sort,” the presidential candidate asserted on Tuesday.
