The Somali Religious Scholars Conference has entered its second day.
The conference, which kicked off on January 24 in Mogadishu, has attracted religious scholars from different parts of the East African nation.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud officially opened the conference on Tuesday.
Sheikh Bashir Ahmed, a renowned scholar, said that attendants at the conference would discuss ways of educating the public about the ongoing war on terrorism.
He addressed his fellow religious scholars at the conference on Wednesday.
