MOGADISHU — The Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism for the Federal Government of Somalia, Hon. Daud Aweis Jama, has offered heartfelt congratulations to the Somali populace, and specifically to media professionals, in observance of Somali Media Day.
The Minister highlighted that this day carries particular importance for the nation, as it commemorates the debut of the first Somali newspaper and the historic introduction of the written Somali language.
