Somalia’s Ministry of Health has confirmed 16 new COVID-19 cases in the country.
Consequently, the health ministry announced a tally of 2,894 cases of the novel coronavirus.
Moreover, six of the cases are in Benadir and another six in Somaliland.
Jubbaland is responsible for four of the newly confirmed cases.
Out of the new cases, 11 are male and five are female.
Furthermore, the ministry also recorded 19 new recoveries that push the total to 887.
Fortunately, the ministry recorded no fresh deaths. Number of deaths remains at 90.
