Somalia has confirmed 276 new cases of COVID-19 from samples tested in the last two weeks in various parts of the country.
The Ministry of Health published the latest figures on November 19.
Once again, Somaliland led with 135 cases. Puntland came second with 91 followed by Galmudug with 22.
Banadir, Jubaland, and Southwest had 16, 8, and 3 cases respectively.
Consequently, Somalia has now recorded 22,969 cases of the virulent disease since March 2020.
With 30 new deaths recorded, the East African nation now sees its tally of fatalities standing at 1,324.
On the positive front, 947 people recovered from the disease thus taking the tally of recoveries to 11,714.
