Somalia Confirms 38 New COVID-19 Cases

On Tuesday, Somalia’s Ministry of Health has confirmed 38 fresh COVID-19 cases, which push the tally of people diagnosed with the deadly disease around the country to 2,696.

Out of the new cases, Puntland is responsible for 16 while 13 were recorded in Somaliland, 8 in Benadir, and 1 in the Southwest State.

Furthermore, 29 of the new patients are male while 9 are female.

The country also recorded 36 new recoveries, which bring the number of recoveries in the country to 685.

In the latest case, the health ministry was glad to point out that nobody had succumbed to the virulent disease, which has brought the entire world to a standstill.
