Somalia has joined the rest of the world in the race to eradicate Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) by 2030.
Abukar Osman Baale, the Somali Permanent Representative to the United Nations, said this while addressing the global body on Tuesday.
Ambassador Baale, who is also the Chairman of the Africa Group at the UN, said Somalia and the entire continent will help the rest of the world in eradicating the deadly disease.
He was addressing the UN General Assembly (UNGA) where the debate on the Implementation of Declaration on HIV/AIDS took place.
