The government and people of Somalia have extended their heartfelt condolences to the Government and people of India following the tragic crash of an Air India flight shortly after takeoff from Ahmedabad.
In an official statement, Somalia expressed solidarity with the families of the victims and all those affected by the disaster, emphasizing its support during this difficult time.
Authorities in India are currently investigating the cause of the crash, which has drawn international sympathy and support.
As per the latest reports, the plane crash killed 269 people. Of those, 241 were in the plane while 28 were on the ground and in a hostel on which the airplane landed shortly after takeoff. Only one person – a British citizen – survived the plane crash.
