Somalia has recorded 106 new COVID-19 infections, according to the latest report from the health ministry.
On March 31, the Ministry of Health published the new numbers.
In its statement, the ministry noted that the tally of COVID-19 infections in the country currently stands at 11,398.
Moreover, deaths have increased to 529 while recoveries stand at 4,819.
Somaliland was responsible for 41 of the new infections reported on Wednesday.
Other regions with new cases include Puntland (37), Banadir (9), HirShabelle (7), and Jubbaland and Galmudug, which has six cases each.
