Somalia has reported 160 new COVID-19 infections from samples tested over the last 24 hours.
On April 4, the Ministry of Health confirmed that it conducted tests on 1,176 samples collected in the last 24 hours.
With the new infections confirmed, the country’s COVID-19 total has now reached 11,783.
Total recoveries have also increased to 4,967 while deaths attributed to the deadly pandemic are 557.
Somalia is currently in the middle of a second wave of the virulent disease.
