DHAKA, Bangladesh – Somalia’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Sheekhnuur Maxamed Hassan, formally presented his letters of credence today to Bangladesh President Mohammed Shahabuddin, confirming his role as non-resident Ambassador to the nation.
At the Dhaka ceremony, Amb. Sheekhnuur delivered a message of goodwill and esteem from Somalia’s President, Dr. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud. The message underscored Somalia’s appreciation for its bilateral relations with Bangladesh and the intent to expand cooperation between the two countries.
President Shahabuddin warmly received the credentials and greetings from President Mohamud. In his response, he reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to advancing diplomatic ties and cooperative initiatives between Mogadishu and Dhaka.
