Somalia plans to incorporate ideological and economic tools in its operations against Al-Shabaab terrorists.
The East African nation has been carrying out intense military operations against terrorists who prescribe to the Al-Shabaab militant group.
Thus far, the offensives have proven quite effective.
However, President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud now promises that his administration would take the offensive a notch higher.
The President spoke in the United States where he is currently attending the US-African Summit.
He assured his counterparts from other countries that the operations have been successful.
Incorporating the two new tools has enabled the government to bolster the war on terror and achieve rapid victory in such a short time.
