Speaker Sheikh Aden Madobe of Somalia’s House of the People (Lower House) has performed the Tawaaf Al Ifaadah in Mecca.
The Lower House Speaker is in Mecca, Saudi Arabia for this year’s Eid al-Adha celebrations.
On July 9, he joined millions of fellow pilgrims from different countries around the world in performing the Eid prayers.
Other Somali leaders or well-known personalities who are in Mecca include ex-Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble.
