Somalia’s Office of the Prime Minister (OPM) has a new Permanent Secretary.
Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre announced the appointment of Kamaludiin Dahir Hassan Gutale as the new OPM Permanent Secretary.
The OPM will also get other new officials.
These include a new Deputy Permanent Secretary as well as a Director of Protocol.
Abdirizak Ali Ibrahim and Mahad Mohamed Omar take over as the Deputy Permanent Secretary and Director of Protocol respectively.
Their appointments, which were announced on Tuesday, take effect immediately.
