Somaliland has given illegal foreigners 20 days to leave the country.
The Somaliland government issued the 20-day ultimatum to foreigners who are in the country illegally on July 27.
Somaliland’s Immigration Department issued a statement indicating that foreigners who are in the country illegally have until August 17, 2022, to leave.
Meanwhile, it also warned employers against hiring foreigners who lack the requisite papers.
The Immigration Department urged employers to hire foreigners who either have valid visas or are registered as refugees only.
