The daughter of Speaker Sheikh Adan Madobe of the House of the People has been appointed to the board of the National Statistics Agency (NSA).
Sources indicated that the daughter of Lower House’s Speaker Madobe is now part of the administrative board of the agency.
Her appointment took place months after there was public outcry over the decision to appoint the daughter of President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud to public office.
The appointment of Speaker Madobe’s daughter to NSA received the blessings of the Council of Ministers.
They approved her appointment in their weekly Council of Ministers meeting that took place in Mogadishu on Thursday.
